Talk is cheap when lives are in jeopardy.
Sirantha Jax is a "jumper", a woman who possesses the unique genetic makeup needed to navigate faster-than-light ships through grimspace. With no tolerance for political diplomacy, she quits her ambassador post so she can get back to saving the universe the way she does best - by mouthing off and kicking butt.

Der Rückentext von Killbox fasst statt dem Buch eher die bisherige Reihe zusammen. Das ist zwar grundsätzlich nicht schlimm, aber es lässt auch ein wenig ein falsches Bild entstehen. Anfangs war Jax der Typ, erst draufhauen und später nachdenken. Das ist sie aber schon seit Band drei nicht mehr!
Das ändert jedoch nichts an der vorhandenen Spannung und dem Spaß, den man beim Lesen der Reihe und dieses Buches hat.
Fazit: Killbox sowie die Sirantha Jax Reihe bisher insgesamt sind auf jeden Fall lesenswert für Science Fiction Fans. Ich empfehle jedoch, gleich auf Englisch anzufangen, sofern man wie ich ein echtes Buch bevorzugt. Auf Deutsch gibt es leider nur die ersten beiden Bände, danach ist der Verlag auf E-Books umgestiegen.
